My weather station project is monitoring temperature and rain outside my home in Copenhagen.

The temperature sensor is a 18B20 and the rain sensor is an RG-11 optical gauge from Hydreon corp. Outputs are connected to a Raspberry Pi and the program I made in Python produces CSV files that are uploaded to this website from where a plugin in WordPress can make the graphical presentation of data as seen here
